I love translating that into a look: luminous skin, softly sculpted cheekbones, refined eyes with a hint of smoky depth and a muted rose or berry lip. Rungsted Harbour and the coast are wonderful for portraits, especially in the warm light of late afternoon. But the sea air is changeable. I prep the skin to stay comfortable in wind and sun and set the makeup so it holds through a long day. Hair is anchored with hidden pins and a flexible finish so it moves naturally without falling apart. If you plan to walk along the jetties, wear comfortable shoes there and swap into your wedding shoes for the photos. A light shawl in the evening also protects both you and your hairstyle from a cool breeze off the water.
Where will we get ready?
In Rungsted I usually come to private homes, family villas near the coast, summer houses or the venue where you celebrate. A room with a large window is ideal; I bring my own light for evenness and a calm, organised setup so your morning feels like a pause, not a rush. I begin a few hours before the ceremony and leave you with a small touch-up kit. If you would like me to stay for touch-ups through the day or style your veil before the ceremony, that is possible on request.
How do I reserve a date in Rungsted?
Write to me on WhatsApp or by email with your date, your location and the number of people. Bridal Makeup & Hair is €300, or €180 for makeup or hair alone. For mothers, bridesmaids and guests it is €200 for both, €120 for one. A trial and travel outside Copenhagen are priced on request.
