Do you travel to brides across Greater Copenhagen?

Yes. I come to your home, hotel or venue anywhere in Greater Copenhagen, from the coast north of the city to the suburbs in the west and the islands in the south-east. Travel outside Copenhagen is priced on request, so send me your address and date and I will confirm the details.

My style is skin-first and refined: a natural Nordic glow, timeless elegance or modern glamour, with hair from soft romantic curls to sleek buns and relaxed bohemian styles. Because I am also a wedding photographer (slakarvounis.com) and have been creating since 2011, I know how your look will read in photographs. I work in English and Danish, so brudemakeup and brudehår planning is easy in either language.

What do bridal makeup and hair cost?

Bridal Makeup & Hair is €300, Bridal Makeup is €180 and Bridal Hairstyling is €180. For bridesmaids, mothers and guests, Makeup & Hair is €200, and makeup or hairstyling alone is €120.

Which areas north of Copenhagen do you cover?

I cover the whole northern coast and its green suburbs. These notes describe typical wedding settings and practical tips, not places I have worked.

Gentofte and Hellerup

These are leafy, residential areas with elegant family homes, so getting ready at home with your family is a lovely option. Hellerup also has a marina and harbour feel, and a salty breeze means I will build hair that holds and moves well.

Charlottenlund

Charlottenlund combines quiet villa streets with a nearby beach and woodland. If you plan portraits outdoors, choose a hairstyle with a little softness so it looks beautiful in the open air.

Klampenborg

Klampenborg is known for Dyrehavsbakken, the old amusement park, and the surrounding forest, as well as Bellevue beach with its coastal views. Beach and woodland photographs reward a hairstyle that survives wind, so we can test this in your trial. Bring flat shoes for walking between locations.

Lyngby

Lyngby has lakes, parkland and a lively town centre. Lakeside portraits are lovely in soft light, so a luminous, natural finish suits them. Allow extra time on the morning if you are travelling in from another part of the region.

Rungsted and Hørsholm

Rungsted brings a harbour and coastline, while Hørsholm offers a quieter, village-like feel with greenery. Both are well suited to relaxed, romantic weddings. As they are further north, I would plan arrival time with you early in the process.

Which areas west and south of the city do you cover?

The western and southern suburbs are practical, well connected and full of possibilities. Many couples there choose a family home, a local hall or a hotel, and I come to wherever you are.

Ballerup, Herlev and Rødovre

These suburbs are close to the city and easy to reach, which helps if you want a calm, unhurried morning. A sleek modern bun or a timeless updo is a popular choice for brides who will be busy all day.

Glostrup, Albertslund and Brøndby

Here you will find a mix of family homes, parks and larger event spaces. For bigger celebrations, I recommend the optional all-day touch-ups so your makeup stays fresh from ceremony through party.

Hvidovre, Tårnby and Dragør

Tårnby and Hvidovre lie close to Amager and the airport, which can be handy for guests arriving from abroad. Dragør is a charming old fishing town with cobbled streets, yellow houses and harbour views. Cobbles and sea wind are good reasons to choose flat or block-heel shoes and a secure hairstyle.

Ishøj and Vallensbæk

Ishøj and Vallensbæk sit along the coast to the south-west, with beaches, green spaces and modern homes. If you marry near the water, we can keep a lightly textured, windproof look that photographs well.

How do I prepare for a wedding morning outside the city?

Choose a bright room, have a chair, mirror and power socket ready, and plan to start a few hours before the ceremony. I will travel to you, so travel time is built in on my side.

2. Pick the room with the best natural light.
3. Arrive with clean, moisturised skin and dry hair.
4. Keep your dress, veil and accessories nearby.
5. Plan breaks, water and a snack.

Which look suits a Greater Copenhagen wedding?

The best look is the one that feels like you and still reads well on camera. Many Danish weddings favour a fresh, understated style, so a natural Nordic glow with defined eyes and a soft lip is a very popular starting point.

If your day is more glamorous, we can build up to richer eyes, a bolder lip and sculpted curls. In your consultation we talk through your dress, theme and vibe, and in the trial we test the result in real light and on camera.
